Miss Anne’s Music and Movement is coming to West End Academy of Dance! This popular class is geared toward infant through preschool age, and a parent/guardian and child take class together. Normally Miss Anne’s classes are open to up to 100 people in a class, however, this is a special private class with only twenty families. Each class is thiry minutes long, and WEAD provides a variety of clean materials such as egg shakers, scarves, bean bags, and other instruments. Kids will dance, play instruments, and listen to a mix of children’s classics and contemporary songs. And here’s more great news: second and third children in the same family take class for free! Registration is now open!
Anne Shultz aka “Miss Anne” is a mom of three and preschool teacher at All Saints Preschool. In 2016, she started teaching music and movement classes to preschoolers at All Saints and at the VCU Health Partnership for Families Northside Child Care Center. In 2017, she started Miss Anne’s Music & Movement drop-in classes. Her entire career has been spent working with young children, and music is a passion of hers. Helping children and families have fun with music is truly her dream job!
For over 40 years, the West End Academy of Dance (WEAD) has been one of the community’s most beloved neighborhood dance studios. WEAD offers a warm, welcoming environment where kids, teens, and adults can freely express themselves, make great friends, and learn the joy of dance from nurturing, professional teachers. Come see for yourself what makes WEAD such a special place for our students and families. WEAD always looks forward to welcoming new faces into their growing community.
