Richmond Multisports presents Pink Power Triathlon to benefit local LiveStrong program. What is Pink Power you ask? In a race schedule chock full of variations of the same swim bike run format, Pink Power adds a fun twist for a real girls day out. August 19th at the Midlothian YMCA, the Richmond Multisports team presents an all female field with an all male volunteer crew! This race, perfect for first timers, will feature 400 meter pool swim, 11 mile bike and 5k run. Good weather and all summer to train makes for ideal conditions to gather your BFF, mom, aunt, book club, or neighbor tojoin you in a race to benefit the local YMCA LiveStrong program. The LiveStrong program is a 12 weeks long and designed to help cnacer survivors rebuild their spirit, mind and body. This is the fourth year Richmond Multisports, Central Virginia’s top notch producer of duathons and trialthons, will be showcasing the Pink Power concept. The race is sure to be a great day out for athletes and volunteers alike, with surprise water stops, themed aid stations and music by powerful women. Commonwealth Sports Medicine has taken the lead as title sponsor and 3Sports will come in as a presenting partner.
