$Steve Bassett’s path as an artist into it’s sixth decade has carried him through the roots of southern rock, soul, gospel, blues, and jazz and his song “Sweet Virginia Breeze”, coauthored with Robbin Thompson, is the official popular state song of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Steve has received the Theresa Pollack Prize for Excellence in the Arts and was inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame.
