Bringing Honor Home

In honor of Native American Heritage month, join Powhatan Red Cloud Owen (Chickahominy tribal elder) and Kenneth Adams (Chief Emeritus Upper Mattaponi Tribe), for a discussion on how the Native Americans who had to leave the Commonwealth of Virginia in order to receive a high school education and then enlisted where they graduated, are still fighting to be recognized as Virginians. Light hors d’oeuvres will be available from 5pm to 6pm.
