Mindful Parenting Workshop: Self-Compassion in Parenting

Parenting is hard, and we are hard on ourselves. “I yelled at the kids again—and I feel so ashamed.” “I hardly have time to shower, let alone exercise. No wonder I’m so out of shape.” “I’m not the parent I hoped I would be.”
Self-compassion can help. Join mindfulness expert and psychologist Dr. Susan M. Pollak to learn how to let go of self-judgment and treat yourself with the kindness you strive to offer to your kids.
Learn simple yet powerful techniques that are easy to practice in daily life—cooking dinner, doing the dishes, driving, or soothing a fussy baby. Learn to respond to your own imperfections like a supportive friend, not a harsh critic. You will find yourself happier, more energized, and will discover new reserves of patience and appreciation for your kids.
The format of this workshop is intended to be extra accessible for parents who are, let’s be honest, on the clock 24/7. We realize you might be preparing or eating dinner, rolling around on the floor with your baby, or walking around the house picking up from the day. Whatever is happening at home, we welcome it! And we would love for your kiddos to join us, too!
