Wounded Warriors Project serves the Naiton’s warriors with every type of injury – from the physical to the invisible wounds of war. An estimated 48,000 servicemen and women have been physically injured in recent military conflicts. Another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment. As many as 400,000 additional service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
With the mission to honor and empower service men and women, WWP is the hand extended to encourage warriors as they adjust to their new normal and achieve new triumphs.
For a $15 donation you will receive a LAXin’ For a Cause t-shirt, 20-oz. stadium cup, a WWP decal, and a bracelet. Make checks payable to Godwin Lacrosse. Please contact a member of the Godwin girls or boys lacrosse teams to place an order.
