The Visual Arts Center of Richmond Celebrates 50 years
with Craft+Design Show presented by Altria
~ Unique elements include craft beer, food, and many new artists ~
Join the Visual Arts Center of Richmond at the Craft+Design Show presented by Altria as they celebrate their 50th anniversary with some of the nation’s finest craft artists. The event will take place on Saturday, November 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia. The event is open to the public and tickets are available at the door.
For 50 years, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond has been committed to providing arts education and celebrating crafts within the community. The Craft+Design Show presented by Altria is the region’s premiere opportunity to see and purchase high-quality, hand-made crafts from both local and national artists. Find inspiration as you browse the diverse, hand-made crafts, talk one-on-one with the artists themselves, or come do some holiday shopping! Craft beers will be on tap all weekend from Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Center of the Universe Brewing Company, Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery, Strangeways Brewing, and Bold Rock Hard Cider, as well as food selections from local vendors Mosaic and Alamo BBQ.
All proceeds from admission tickets and craft beer purchases at the Craft+Design Show presented by Altria will provide vital funding for the outreach and arts education programming at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond.
