Henrico County Public Library to Offer Overdrive

Henrico County Public Library has now expanded its digital content services with eBooks and eAudiobooks available as free downloads to a computer or mobile device from the library’s website through Overdrive.  This new service is free for Henrico County Public Library members with a valid library card.  Members can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visitingwww.henricolibrary.org.

Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of mobile devices including iPod®, iPhone®, iPad™, Android™, Sony® Reader™, Nook, Blackberry, and many others.  Amazon’s Kindle will be available soon.  Some audio titles can also be burned to a CD to listen to on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period which means there are no late fees!

To get started downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks, visit www.henricolibrary.org.  Don’t have a library card?  Visit any of our public libraries today!

Margaret Thompson never thought she’d be a business owner (or a mom for that matter!), but after realizing a need for a high quality, content-focused magazine for Richmond area families, she dove in! With twenty years of marketing and project management under her belt, she pulls all of the pieces together each month to get RFM out to our eager readers. Mom of two teen boys, Margaret and her husband Chris live in Hanover County.
