Fresh Start Program Launches for Single Mothers

Fresh Start, a positive life advancement program that meets weekly, is open for registration.

Designed to accept, support and empower single mothers in their daily lives, Fresh Start welcomes all single mothers from the community to participate.Topics include, but are not limited to: managing your budget, health and wellness, stress management, employment and interviewing strategies, domestic violence awareness and child protection, parenting on your own, and car care essentials

The Fresh Start session in Glen Allen runs from September 27 through November 15. The group meets Thursday evenings from six to eight o’clock at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Educational Building C, at 4825 Pouncey Tract Road.
