Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Richmond announced that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s The Lion King are available to the public.
Richmond’s most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Altria Theater stage on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, May 8, 2016. The opening night is Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm. The show’s four-week premiere engagement in 2012 played a sold-out run at Altria Theater, then named Landmark Theater.
In Richmond The Lion King will play Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 6:30 pm with Saturday matinees at 2 pm and Sunday matinees at 1:00 pm. There will be a 2 pm matinee performance on Thursday, May 5.
