(RICHMOND, April 5, 2016) — Jam Theatricals announces the lineup of blockbuster shows for the 2016-2017 Broadway In Richmond Season which includes the Richmond premieres of Elf the Musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Beautiful: The
Carole King Musical, Kinky Boots, and back by popular demand, The Book of Mormon, which played a record breaking one-week run in 2014.
“For our eighth season of Broadway In Richmond, we’re excited to premiere four new musicals direct from Broadway
including the Tony Award winners Kinky Boots and Beautiful:The Carole King Musical and the return of the record-breaking The Book of Mormon,” said Steve Traxler, president of Jam Theatricals, the presenting company of Broadway In Richmond. “Every season, we look forward to bringing the best of Broadway direct to Richmond and presenting all of these shows at the beautiful Altria Theater.”
