Three workshops in one free family-friendly event to help Richmonders reach their financial goals!
Money and finances always top surveys of the number one family stressor. We know this, so how is it still true? While people are following their passions and career paths, these journeys rarely provide the necessary information and resources to allow them to make confident financial choices in their life. What’s more, long gone is the generation that you could walk into your local bank and trust the advice you are getting, but perhaps it is not as long gone as one may think.
Call Federal, a Richmond Virginia-based credit union, is committed to supporting their members and helping local communities reach their personal financial goals.
On Saturday, May 13, 2017, Call Federal will hold a Family Financial Forum, free to the public, from nine to noon at the Children’s Museum of Richmond on West Broad Street. Childcare during the seminar is available for only $10 and includes admission to the Children’s Museum.
Scott Gregory, financial education administrator at Call Federal, says, “Just like good grades can open doors for a student, Call Federal wants to help participants understand what doors can open when you connect with your money personality as well as your credit, spending and savings goals.”
Led by Call Federal financial experts, these workshops are designed to deliver financial education to anyone who is interested in improving their knowledge of their attitudes about money, finances, credit, budgeting, savings, and debt.
