Campers become more confident by being away from home at an overnight camp; it’s an opportunity to learn and grow.
At Camp Sea Gull for boys & Camp Seafarer for girls, we provide a well-supervised setting for campers to make choices and meet new friends, to try new activities and get better at others. We place an emphasis on hiring excellent role models, so that your child will have a positive, safe and fun experience while at Camp.
Our days are structured so that campers come together for meals, cabin time and campwide events. The rest of the day, campers are free to choose their own activities – and the choices are seemingly endless!
Seamanship is our focus. We offer an extensive fleet of sailboats and powerboats to teach campers of all ages and boating experience. Our other water activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding and windsurfing.
Land activities are abundant at both Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer. Campers enjoy golf, tennis, archery, climbing, volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball/ baseball and creative arts. Camp Sea Gull features an 18-hole golf course, and Camp Seafarer offers horseback riding.
We strive to go beyond skill development and have a positive influence on each camper’s character development. We hope the Camp adventure will be marked by growth in self-confidence and independence, consideration of others, heightened respect for a fragile environment, and a spirit of cooperation that can make the world a better place. Such an attitude is the mark of a Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer “Good Sport.”
