NFL Pro Bowl running back Michael Robinson of the Seattle Seahawks and his Excel 2 Excellence Foundation, Inc will host its 3rd annual football camp on May 26, 2012. Robinsons’ foundation events will include a full day of community games and activities along with an on field football camp at Dorey Park, 7200 Dorey Park Dr, Richmond, VA 23231.
The football camp is free and limited to the first 500 boys and girls between the ages of 10-18. Camp check in is from 9AM – 10:00AM and the camp itself will be from 10:00AM – 3:00PM with lunch provided. In addition to fun activities with various other NFL players, campers will receive autographed items such as footballs, t-shirts, and photos.
Michael Robinson, born in Richmond, Virginia, was drafted in the 4th round (100th overall) by the 49ers in the 2006 NFL Draft. He played quarterback and wide receiver at Penn State University and led the team to a Big Ten Conference title and an Orange Bowl Championship title in 2005. He finished 5th in the Heisman voting that year.
Excel 2 Excellence Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to develop underprivileged youths with leadership, team work, and life skills.
