James River Explorer Summer Enrichment Camp

Sponsored by The Richmond Walks and History Programs, this is a half day camp with two one week sessions. This program is for rising third, fourth, and fifth graders who seek science/social studies exploration in the great outdoors. Sites visited: Richmond riverfront and historic canals; Brown’s Island; The Virginia State Capitol; Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Virginia Historical Society. Hours are from 9:00AM to 12:15PM. Camp meets at Historic Tredegar Visitor Center on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; Capitol Visitor Entrance on Thursday and at Virginia Museum on Friday.
