Malik Yakini will share some of his experiences and lessons learned in co-founding and leading the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network. He will share his thinking about America’s colonial legacy, the country’s ongoing racial oppression and how those factors shape land ownership, food, agriculture, and economics.

Two nights of Billy Strings.

In this acting workshop students will gain a better understanding of what makes up human behavior, as well as an approach on how to replicate it in an honest, grounded manner. This class, taught by Brendan Kennedy, is geared towards actors looking to take the next step in their craft.
