Located in Louisa County near the Hanover County line, Piedmont Christian School offers a full-time program, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m., three full days, Monday through Wednesday, or five half days dismissing at 11:45 a.m. We also offer Extended Care from 7:00 a.m. until school begins, and after school until 5:30 p.m. Students entering K3 should be three years old by September 30; and must be toilet trained. Students entering K4 should be four years old by September 30, and must be toilet trained.
Our preschool programs use the ABeka curriculum. Colors, numbers, and letter recognition are taught, and phonics are introduced. During their day, the students will have recess, crafts, and nap and snack times. They attend Art, Music, Library, Spanish and PE elective classes. At the end of the school year, the students are counting and doing simple addition and subtraction. They are also reading and writing one syllable words.
