RFM is proud to sponsor Anthem LemonAid again this year, and we want you to help raise funds to assist area kids with cancer. Register today to host your very own Anthem LemonAid stand, July 15 through 17.
All funds raised will support cancer care at Children’s Hospital of Richmond VCU and Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. You can select from one of the available locations at area spots like Kroger, Panera, Walmart, or Sam’s Club, or choose another location that works for you, like your pool, daycare, the baseball field, or outside your favorite toy store (ask permission first!).
All of the supplies you’ll need will be provided when you pick up your kit (except for the actual lemonade stand!) – lemonade mix, cups, a pitcher, stickers, a banner, and sunglasses – how fun is that?! If you can’t swing a stand, you can host an online LemonAid stand instead. You just need a computer, a goal, and a few email addresses of friends and family.
It’s a great way to get the kids involved in community service – they can make it fun by trying to win the Most Festive Stand contest. Check out this picture of last year’s winning stand!
