Day-After-Thanksgiving Art Affair at Art Works

Thanksgiving Friday, shop for innovative artwork and gifts, under $50, from ten artisans, at Art Works, 320 Hull Street Road.

It’s a welcome alternative to the crazy and crowded shopping elsewhere often referred to as “black Friday.” After all, shouldn’t the day after Thanksgiving be filled with energy and light? At Art Works, you can enjoy hot apple cider, cookies, and other goodies. As an added bonus, kids can make holiday crafts while parents shop. Plus, register to win door prizes and get in on a raffle for an original piece of artwork.

Doors open at noon with moderately priced gifts for sale from ten artisans in the main gallery. At seven o’clock, the reception for the new art exhibits begins with more music, a gallery talk, and awards presentation for the all media art show. The juror is Frederick Chiriboga.

Free and open to the public — free parking too!
