Food, Nutrition and Health Workshop Dec. 6

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY EXTENSION OFFERS WORKSHOP

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — The Chesterfield County Virginia Cooperative Extension office is offering a workshop to assist county residents.

A Food, Nutrition and Health workshop will be held on Thursday, December 6, 9:30 a.m.-noon. This class will help persons acquire knowledge and skills to make healthful food choices. Topics cover MyPlate, money saving strategies to stretch one’s food budget, and food handling and storage.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is encouraged. Workshop is held at the Chesterfield County office Virginia Cooperative Extension, 6807 Mimms Loop at the government complex.
