WHAT IS FOOD REVOLUTION DAY?
Launched in 2012 by Jamie Oliver’s Food Foundation, Food Revolution Day is designed to spotlight the importance of eating good, fresh food, and teaching traditional cooking and food preparation skills to the next generation. Richmond is participating in the Food Revolution Celebration under the leadership of local ambassador, Ann Butler, Founder of Edible Education. Food Revolution Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of good food and better food education for everyone by focusing on three simple actions – cook it, share it, live it! So come on RVA – let’s get excited about food!
