“Hamiltunes” Sing-Along Slated for VHS Stage

Hamiltunes RVA – take two – is scheduled for Saturday, March 25, at two o’clock at the Virginia Historical Society.

After the sold-out first installment of the sing-along event dedicated to Hamilton: An American Musical, Firehouse Theatre is teaming up with the Virginia Historical Society to Richmond-area fans the historical and history-based Broadway sensation.

This second edition of Hamiltunes RVA, gives fans of all ages a shot to tell their story. Yes, you can be in “Iπ the Room Where It Happens,” and share your love of the beloved Broadway show. You can’t “Say No to This,” so join the revolution by signing up to belt your patriotic heart out on the beautiful VHS stage.

You can also choose to support the cause, and enjoy the show from the comfort of your seat in the audience (where you can definitely sing-along, too). Either way, you won’t be “Satisfied” unless you’re part of the “Non-Stop” fun!

Hamiltunes features karaoke-style audience participation, and the three ticket levels allow some singers to voice specific parts on stage via online signups, others with reserved seats close to the stage and the final group singing from general admission seats. For more info and to purchase tickets, go to Firehouse Theatre.  Donations and ticket sales will benefit the Richmond Theatre Artist Fund.
