OVERDRIVE DIGITAL BOOKMOBILE VISITS HENRICO!
Tuckahoe – Wednesday, October 2, 1:00 – 7:00 PM & Thursday, October 3, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Henrico County Public Library is proud to host the 74-foot National Digital Bookmobile at the Tuckahoe Area Library parking lot. Readers of all ages will learn how to download eBooks from the library through interactive demonstrations and high-definition instructional videos. All Henrico County Public Library cardholders who visit the truck will be eligible to enter to win a Kindle.
LESSER-KNOWN MONUMENTS OF RICHMOND WITH BOB LAYTON

Leave out the Capitol grounds, Monument Avenue, and Hollywood Cemetery and what is left? Many structures commemorating a variety of honorees and events, each with its own unusual story. Bob Layton, author of Discovering Richmond Monuments, tells why they are important. Book sale and signing follow the program.

Richmond author and educator, Kathryn Starke, will lead a workshop for aspiring authors ages five to ten at Tuckahoe Library. Participants will turn their story ideas into an illustrated, bound book.
