Homeschool Resources Group Open House is August 26

Homeschool Resources Group Open House and Grand Opening – August 26, Noon to Six

Since 2010, Homeschool Resources Group has been committed to providing homeschoolers, private schoolers, and public schoolers with educational and social resources to help enhance the family education experience.  From clubs to workshops to field trips, the group has offered a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

The organization’s social network has become recognizable to many homeschooling families.  Now Homeschool Resources Group has gone brick-and-mortar at 2323 Westwood Avenue in Richmond.

Providing support to families in their educational endeavors, Homeschool Resources Group’s new 8,000-sq-ft family education center offers the opportunity for home educators to supplement the learning experience.  The center offers families small-group classes to fit into the schedules and learning styles of the individual family.  The center offers resources that might not otherwise be available to families on an individual basis: biology, chemistry and robotics labs, a computer lab, library and even a curriculum-lending library.

Students will have both academic and social support within the center, with clubs and wind-down areas for meeting with other families.  Need a space to hold a class?  We have it.  Need club space?  Got it.  Looking for a place to hang out with your playgroup when the weather’s not so nice?  Visit the Homeschool Resources Group.  Need a place for your teen to get some work done while you are at work?  Or maybe you’re looking for family game night!  Homeschool Resources Group is the spot.
