Chesterfield Historical Society of VA to present Jane Austen Themed Tea at
Magnolia Grange House Museum
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia will present a themed tea commemorating the 200th anniversary of “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen, one of the most widely read of British authors, on Wednesday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m. at historic Magnolia Grange House Museum, 10020 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA.
Kathy Chain, owner of Herbs of Happy Hill in Chester, will present a program on life in the late 18th century; the era in which Jane Austen lived (1775-1817).
The menu for the tea will include a selection of finger sandwiches, sweets and teas. Tours of the House Museum will be offered and the Chesterfield Historical Society of VA Museum Shop will be open during the event.
