Dr. Bridges recently acquired his board certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was already board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (aka ENT or Ear, Nose, and Throat). After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Virginia, graduating with highest distinction, Dr. Matthew Bridges completed an ENT residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia CommonwealthUniversity/Medical College of Virginia. During his subsequent four year military career with the United States Air Force, Dr. Bridges became increasingly interested in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, perfecting his technique and achieving the rank of Major.
