Matthew Bridges, M.D.  gets ENT and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Certifications

RICHMOND, Va. – Chesterfield surgeon, Dr. Matthew Bridges, acquires a unique double board certification, showing true dedication to the practice of medicine. Dr. Bridges recently acquired his board certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  He was already board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (aka ENT or Ear, Nose, and Throat). This unique double board certification puts Dr. Bridges on the forefront of facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgical procedures. Whether diagnosing diseases of the ear, nose, and throat, or performing delicate eyelid surgeries and facial implants, Dr. Bridges’ unique combined specialties and years of experience make him a most-requested physician at Stony Point Surgery Center.

After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Virginia, graduating with highest distinction, Dr. Matthew Bridges completed an ENT residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia CommonwealthUniversity/Medical College of Virginia. During his subsequent four year military career with the United States Air Force, Dr. Bridges became increasingly interested in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, perfecting his technique and achieving the rank of Major. Dr. Bridges followed this experience with a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery.
