Formed in late 2009, Game Day Publications is a new children’s book publishing company.  It publishes and markets officially licensed collegiate and professional sports titles to children, their parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents.  Game Day Publication books are written and designed to; delight a wide audience of budding readers and young sports fans, foster team spirit and loyalty, and promote good sportsmanship.  Game Day’s titles are written mainly for readers ages 4-8, when children are beginning to learn, attend and enjoy collegiate and professional sports.

“All Game Day Publication books will feature a strong, positive theme which includes a healthy and fun familial relationship, the team mascot, engaging illustrations and a story that teaches young children important lessons about sportsmanship and character-building values,” says author Sarah Marshall. A long-time publishing executive, Sarah’s first book is based on her own experience as the daughter of a Virginia Tech professor, becoming a lifelong Hokie fan from the age of 6.
