RPAA Launches New Season of Legends on Grace with First Show in September

RPAA presents its 2022-2023 season of Legends on Grace and Nightcaps and Stories. This season includes shows that incorporate up-close and personal conversations with performances and traditional cabaret shows with Virginia’s legendary artists. 

All shows will be at Dominion Energy Center in Rhythm Hall and will run two hours with a 15-minute intermission. 

Saturday, September 17, 2022
Richmond native, Broadway performer, director, choreographer, and producer Mary Page Nance takes the stage. Mary Page was in the original Broadway casts of Finding Neverland, Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812, and the First National Tour of Bright Star. She is currently performing in a Pre-Broadway engagement of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical. She also teaches Broadway master classes in Richmond and all over the world and believes wholeheartedly in the positive effects of arts education.  Hosted by Scott Wichmann – artist and producer

The second show of the season is an up-close and personal conversation and music with jazz legend René Marie. René Marie has built her career on the foundation of truth-telling songs rooted in jazz traditions laid down by leading ladies of past generations. She’s the rare jazz vocalist who has put songwriting at the very heart of her enterprise, addressing the human condition through an unvarnished personal lens. Hosted by Desirée Roots – artistic director of Virginia Repertory Theatre

A Richond Steve Bassett’s legendary musical style is a synthesis of America’s root music, blues, R&B, gospel, and rock. He has produced twenty albums and his song “Sweet Virginia Breeze,” co-authored with Robbin Thompson, is the official state song of Virginia.  Hosted by Tim Timberlake – music producer 

 

In-Person Seating: VIP and General Admission cabaret table seating $42 to $52 per person. Each table seats up to four patrons.
