It’s the 21st Annual Saxon Shoes for the Needy Community Outreach Program!
At Short Pump Town Center this month, donate your family’s gently-used shoes to Saxon Shoes for the Needy through December 24. Kids’ and men’s styles are especially needed. The Shoes for the Needy will be presented to The Salvation Army in Richmond. While many of the donations come from families and individuals, lots of shoes come from groups within schools, churches, businesses, and other organizations, so please organize a drive on your own if that works for you. It will feel good to support those in need in our community no matter how you do it!

Here’s how you enter: Snap a shot of you – or your kids! – doing your shoe donation thing at Saxon’s. Upload your picture to RFM’s Facebook page, or Tweet it to us @RVAFamilyMag, using #SaxonShoesfortheNeedy. You can also shoot a photo to info@RFMonline.com and we’ll get you entered that way.
We’ll draw one winner at random from the Facebook posts, Tweets, and emails we receive through noon on Christmas Eve. So get cleaning out your closet and giving back! Together, we can make this year’s Saxon Shoes for the Needy the most successful drive in the company’s history – and produce a lot of happy feet in the process!
Complete rules: No purchase necessary to enter. All giveaways are sponsored by Richmond Family Magazine. Giveaways are open to adult residents (18 years and over) of the Richmond metro area. One winner will be drawn at random from all sweepstakes entries. One entry per adult per family please. If winner declines prize, RFM is not obligated to offer substitutions or upgrades. Winner(s) will be notified via email the first business day after the end of the sweepstakes month or after a unique drawing date as indicated. If winner does not contact RFM within ten days, a new winner will be drawn.
