ArtVenture Summer Camp at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond

At the Visual Arts Center of Richmond’s ArtVenture Summer Camp, kids ages 5 to 14 make art with the help of some of Richmond’s most talented artists and educators. Kids choose from courses in a wide range of visual art media. Some favorites include wheel throwing, darkroom photography, stop motion animation and mural painting. This summer, we are back to offering a full catalog of on-site camps. On-site camps will follow all our safety protocols and procedures, including any updated COVID-19 protocols that follow guidance from the CDC and the VDH. ArtVenture runs for 10 weeks, June 12 through August 18. Each class runs from Monday through Friday. On-site classes are scheduled from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m. Sign up for a week of both morning and afternoon classes and your child can bring a lunch and eat at VisArts during a supervised lunch hour, free of charge.
