Immerse yourself in the world of The Busy Tree, by Jennifer Ward. Hooting owls, spinning spiders, marching ants and jumping squirrels come to life through movement and music activities led by teaching artists from the Virginia Repertory Theatre. For ages 3 to 8. Registration begins two weeks before each program.

Llearn all about the Monarch Butterfly. In a partnership with the Chesterfield Cooperative Extension office, see Monarch Butterflies in their various life cycles and learn all types of information about these beautiful insects. At the end of the program the presenters will even release some.

Story time with songs, rhymes, finger plays and a craft to take home. For ages 2 to 5. Registration begins one week before each program. Please register every child who will be attending. This event will be held outdoors and is weather permitting. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
