The Children’s Museum is excited to host a free night for families with children with disabilities on the third Friday of each month . A cool down room will be available and sensory supports provided.

Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia invites girls (K through 12th grade)  for fun, hands-on, activities and to learn more about how to become a member. If you are interested, but unable to attend to attend, please email them at gshelper@comgirlscouts.org

Read books focused on financial literacy and teaching kids about money. ($, Free for members)

Kindergarten readiness event includes playful learning activities designed by Museum educators and featuring community partners the YMCA and Wegman’s in the Downtown Museum lobby. The YMCA will be hosting kids’ fitness challenges and Wegman’s will provide a snack. Museum admission is not included.

Participants will make arts and crafts, learn new things, and explore their creativity with the help of their Play Guide, Zoë. This event occurs every Wednesday and is free with Museum admission. ($, Free for members)

TonyTunes is a live music program for children, ages 1 to 5. Tony leads the class with his guitar, drums and voice. Each class incorporates movement, singing, and musical instruments into a fast-flowing, interactive experience. ($, Free for members)
